JKARE Miami began with a goal to help cystic fibrosis patients until the need for quality respiratory care became evident in groups of the South Florida community as well. For this reason, JKARE Miami often sponsors events for various pediatric organizations and foundations that raise money to improve the lives of those living with multiple diseases and those living with financial insecurity.
Events for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Two parents determined to give their son, a cystic fibrosis survivor, the best respiratory care they could find started JKARE Miami. With a close and personal connection to the disease, we have hosted several fundraisers for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). In April 2019, JKARE Miami formed a team for Great Strides, CFF's largest national fundraising event, sponsoring a walk in Coconut Grove, Florida. In June 2019, we sponsored a fundraiser called Paint and Play Date for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in partnership with Sloan's Ice Cream, Bash of Paint, and City Place Doral.

JKARE Miami is a proud affiliate of United Community Options (UCO) of South Florida, an organization that offers programs, supports, and services designed to meet the particular needs of children and adults with a wide range of needs and abilities, including physical, intellectual, and neurological disabilities, as well as developmental delays and developmental disabilities each and their families.
On February 6, 2020, Buen Provecho Miami! raised close to $85,000 for the programs and services offered by UCO of South Florida. JKARE Miami was honored to be a sponsor of this event!
